Welcome - Where God and Life Intersect!

Our Purpose.

“Bringing glory to God in everything we do by seeking the lost, strengthening the saved and serving the Master.”

SEEKING

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  The human race by nature is sinful and in need of a Savior.  Because God loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins.  By His death, Jesus paid the debt of sin which we owe to God.  God wants all people everywhere to be saved from their sin.  This can be done by faith in what Jesus Christ has already done.  He lived a sinless life.  He died in our place as a substitution and sacrifice for our sins.  He rose again on the third day defeating sin and providing victory to those who believe.

How to Be Saved? Seeking those who are lost with the saving message of faith in Jesus Christ is our purpose.  This saving message of faith is the focus of the preaching ministry of our church and an integral part of our Worship.  This saving message of faith is the motivation behind our ministry of Sharing and our ministry of Caring.

STRENGTHENING

Faith without works is dead.  Saving faith is a belief in the mind, producing a conviction of the heart, and resulting in a way of life. It is the duty of all saved, born-again believers to grow in the knowledge and grace of God.  It is the purpose of Cross Roads Free Will Baptist to foster an environment of training and teaching to build up the believer in the knowledge and grace of God.  This is accomplished through Christian Education, Worship, and Community among the believers. We stress the importance of Bible study, sound biblical doctrine, personal devotion and prayer within the church and within the home.  The spiritual condition of the church can never be any healthier than the spiritual condition of the home.  The spiritual condition of the home can never be any healthier than the spiritual condition of the individual believers within the home.

SERVING

Every believer is called by God to be a servant.  God instructs every believer to offer the body as a living sacrifice to Him as a means of reasonable service.  The church is a place for believers to offer themselves to God in service by Accountability of their time, their talent and their tithe.  Every believer is equipped by God with a gift for service. It is the duty of every believer to embrace the gift and use it to bring glory to God.  It is the purpose of Cross Roads Free Will Baptist to assist each believer in the identification of the gift and to provide an avenue of its use for the glory of God.
